About the AbleTripodCane base

The AbleTripodCane base adds stability and confidence on grass, gravel and even sand. And on stairs, where a quad cane needs to be turned sideways creating an uncomfortable, unsteady climb, the AbleTripodCane base, without turning, puts less stress on your hand and makes navigating steps easier.

The unique patented tripod base weighs only 8.5 oz. and is designed to lower the center of gravity of the cane making it self standing. This design eliminates the need for hanging the cane when not in use and frees the user`s hand when necessary, making it an excellent Aid to Daily Living.

And if your cane. with the AbleTripodCane base, does happen to fall you will no longer have to bend to pick it up. Simply rotate the tripod base until the handle faces up, place your toe on the vertical pod and gently tip the cane up to your hand.

The specially formulated weighted rubber compound of the AbleTripodCane base is extremely durable and it promotes normalization of gait in both neurological and orthopedic disorders, making it a superior walking aid.

About the Canes

Our AbleTripodCanes are adjustable from 30in to 39in, with an offset handle, and come in a variety of colors. Canes come pre-assembled with a AbleTripodCane base and a removable wrist strap. Our small-base cane is self-standing, provides greater lateral support, and is easy to use on stairs. Select Black, Metallic Rose, Metallic Blue, Bronze, or Black Marble. These canes weigh 1.25 pounds.
