We use the TV Ears attasched to the TV and DVD player. My husband is hard of hearing and before TV Ears had the TV volume very high. With TV Ears, I can listen to the TV at a reasonable level while he wears the ears and has his volume at a level he enjoys. He also gets out of bed before I do in the morning. He likes to listen to the news channels on TV. He can mute the TV and listen to the news through the TV Ears while I sleep.

I bought this product to use when walking on the treadmill with fans going. When it occassionly worked, I was pleased with the product. However, it only worked occassionly and was unreliable. I called the company and was told I had to send it back for repair. However, an e-mail that was sent to stated it "may not work if it is jarred during walking."
