The slim, flexible AbleTripodCane base, on the other hand, does not have to be turned, puts less stress on your hand and makes navigating steps easier than the bulky traditional multipod base canes.

The unique patented tripod base weighs only 8.5 oz. and is designed to lower the center of gravity of the cane making it self standing. This design eliminates the need for hanging the cane when not in use and frees the user's hand when necessary, making it an excellent Aid to Daily Living.

And if your cane with the AbleTripodCane base does happen to fall, you will no longer have to bend to pick it up. Simply rotate the tripod base until the handle faces up, place your toe on the vertical pod and gently tip the cane up to your hand.

Made from a specially formulated weighted rubber compound, the AbleTripodCane base is extremely durable and it promotes normalization of gait in both neurological and orthopedic disorders, making it a superior walking aid.

To order the correct size just measure the diameter of your cane at the bottom without the rubber tip. Then order the size that matches your measurement; either 5/8in, 3/4in, 7/8in or 1in.

I bought this product for my mother to use with her 'dress' cane, as I had already purchased one in combination with the light designer cane previously. She no longer 'forgets' where she put her cane or has trouble picking it up from the numerous times it use to fall. Now it's easy for her..the cane stands wherever she puts it. On the occassional time it gets knocked over, she merely has to step on the rubber triangle to stand it up. So easy, yet so helpful.

My husband had a stroke. The quad cane was too difficult to use. He started using this item and took to it like a duck to water. I was soon pleased. I thought we would never be able to stop useing the walker. His mother saw it and tried it out, I just orderd one for her too....
