Comments about Table Mate V for Wheelchairs - Dark Walnut:

This table is great for people who need a wide table to fit around a wheel chair or lift chair or small recliner. It's also good for some hobbies which require a large surface. I keep one out on our enclosed porch which I use for a buffet table when I have one or two guests.

The only downside is that with time if you keep heavy weight on it, it will tend to bow slightly in the middle, especially in very warm temps. That's expected with plastic. I also think other than this site they are somewhat overpriced.

Comments about Table Mate V for Wheelchairs - Dark Walnut:

Okay... I needed a way to work on a laptop and also do writing and reading for my classes online, while sitting in a special ergonomic padded leather chair for my painful back condition. I needed considerably more space than was offered by the regular Table-mate. I also didn't care for the cheap look of most (white) table mates, but thought walnut might look better (it does a bit, but still could be better). [...] I was so disappointed to discover it was basically a factory "second" although I had paid full price. It had large flaws in the simulated wood grain that had been crudely painted over with glossy brown paint! Really tacky... Other than that it has been very functional and I use it every day for classes I am taking online (I cannot sit in most desk chairs for long before I'm hurting.) Plenty of room for the 15" laptop AND papers placed beside it. So functionally, I appreciate it (although I wish it had even more adjustments, and it wobbles a bit if bumped... be CAREFUL if you put a beverage on it!). In sum,[...]it had significant cosmetic defects although I paid FULL PRICE. It should have been marked down substantially in my opinion! (There is NO WAY I will risk exchanging it after all the delays I went through to get it in the first place!) It would be nice if they would at least give me a partial refund, but I'm not holding my breath...
