The Super Grip Grab Bars has two suction cups that will secure the handle to the side of your bathtub or shower wall and will allow you to get a good grip. The indicators will give you a green if the handle has been installed properly and a red if there is not enough suction. Release the lever to remove the handle. This grab bar is so light and portable you can take it almost anywhere. Weight Capacity of 350 Lbs.

I bought this for my 83yr old mom. I have faithfully followed the instructions & thoroughly tested it BEFORE (thankfully) I allowed her to use it.
After cleaning the tiles and attaching it, it fell-off on it own in less than 45 mins.
Also, it takes some strenght to apply the suction cups and pull the lock-levers - even for me. It would be totally beyond a weak, frail, old or infirmed person to affix. And, imagine that the instructions recommend that it should be re-affixed EACH TIME it is to be used!
I at first thought that it would be easy & convenient, however, considering the serious nature of it's intended function - IT'S JUST NOT WORTH IT!
My advice to anyone considering these or similar handles is there is nothing better than stainless steel bars bolted with STAINLESS STEEL screws. At least one end must be secured through a stud or similarly strong anchor point. Yes, this cost a lot more, but remember also what it could cost you if a handle fails! In the end SAFETY is ALWAYS paramount.

It is meant to be a "sturdy" place to grab when in need, but it becomes unstable quickly on my shower tiles. Needed to be reattached every day, which is not safe or practical. Will be returning the second one I ordered as a gift.

I purchased this product last year to give my 80+ parents a little security in my shower. They were visiting, and I don't have grab-bars in the guest shower. The darn thing fell off the wall during showering. Extemely hazardous for elderly &/or children.

I use this as a helping hand when getting out of the bathtub. It was a little difficult to attach to my 4" tiles, but eventually I got it lined up and now it works great!

Upon first use this bar appears to be great. The holding power is excellent, the only question now is how it will hold up to time--it is an aid that can't afford to fail.
