Most talking watches have to set manually- not the Active and Able's Atomic Talking Sports Watch. This Sport Watch is done automatically and to the exact second. The Talking Sports Watch is set by the National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST) radio signal.
Feature & Specifications Note: The atomic function won't operate in Hawaii or Alaska. The Atomic Talking Sports Watch cannot communicate with the NIST from either Hawaii or Alaska, and must be set manually while in those states. For individuals who use this watch in Hawaii, Alaska, or Canada, time won't be automatically set and the calendar won't work. However, it may still be as a regular "manual-set" watch.
