These are one of the best things I have ever purchased. It's hot here in the summer. Take this cushion and refrigerate it for a few minutes or overnight. Then pull it out and sit down with it against your back. Instant cooling to your body. This cushion stays cool at room temperature. I leave one on the bed and in the middle of the night, when it's too hot, I just reach for it and put it on my pillow.
I have FOUR of these. I rotate them in and out of the refrigerator all summer. Out of season, I store them under the mattress.
Now, I will say, these things are heavy when room temperature. They feel lighter when chilled. But it's a large cushion and it's filled with gel, so it is a little weighty.
I highly recommend this product for anyone, anytime you need a little cooling.

I drive a school bus with no air. The buses get very hot and these cushions help a lot. They are rather heavy to take back and forth but well worth the effort. Since at times I am on the bus for long periods of time I keep mine in the fridge. It does get a little hard but soon softens up.By doing this I can keep cool durning the complete trip.

I don't know how this works but it does. It activates from my body heat so I can roll over onto it and immediately get cool. I have 2 one for my bed and one for the living room. I don't have A/C so this is going to save me this summer. I did receive one that was discolored and stained. Active and Able did not respond to me at all however the manufacturers did and replaced it that day.

I lay on the comfort cushion, it is cooling without being too cold. It is heavy so you could never take it on a flight.
