Comments about Guardian Alert 911:
This product IS a lifesaver. I had to use it just this past Sunday because I was having a heart attack. I pushed the one button and everything else happened automatically, as advertized. Within seconds I was speaking to the 911 operator, over the pendant, and he stayed on the line with me until the EMTs arrived. I was alone, and couldn't get to the front door to unlock it, so I gave the operator the code to open my garage door and that's how the EMTs got in to me.
I am now back at home recovering.
This system is so simple to install, no complicated programming, no advising others about possible emergency calls, and what they should do. Basically just two connections, install a battery and you are ready. Then, if you need help, just press one button and that help is on the way -- to dial '911' takes three to four button pushes.
I have had the system for about two months, and I wear the pendant clipped to my clothes, or my oxygen tank carrier strap, when I am up, and I have it on the night stand by the bed at night.
I makes me feel safer knowing that it is there, and that help is only one button-push away.
My only suggestion would be to make the neck cord detachable. I don't use the cord, but clip the unit to my clothing.
I have family, friends and co-workers that are considering purchasing these systems now.
